A Kiss on the Cobblestones

Where worlds do collide,

Between the old and the new,

Between the evening rains,

And the morning dew.

The young and the old,

Upon evening strolls,

Hold their hands and smile,

Upon the cobblestones.

With her I stroll and my mind is blown,

With a simple kiss on the cobblestones.

How many souls,

Have walked these streets?

How many times,

Did their lips meet?

How many stories,

Created and told,

Within these towns,

Upon the cobblestones.

With her I stroll and my mind is blown,

With a simple kiss on the cobblestones.

Energy can not,

Be created or destroyed,

The energy of love,

Is just shared and deployed,

The love of centuries,

I now share and own,

With a simple kiss,

Upon the cobblestones.

With her I stroll and my mind is blown,

With a simple kiss on the cobblestones.

Where you now stand,

Where you will be,

This simple truth,

Now you must see,

Sharing laughter and love,

Is your choice alone,

This truth I can see,

Upon the cobblestones.

With her I stroll and my mind is blown,

With a simple kiss on the cobblestones.
