Hall of Lights

 In the hall of lights,
 Our souls convene,
 Hearts collide in color,
Colors are the children of light,
A song of dance for the eyes,
Painted on the world by the heart,
Painted on each heart by others.

 Words scratch the surface,
 The deepest meaning is wordless,
For the heart sings loud in silence,
In cultures on the river of time,
In unions where two souls become one,
For magic is a realm with no bounds,
Opened by the key of the heart.

The luster of diamonds and gold,
Just symbols in the earth of treasure,
The warmth of gold  just a shadow,
Of the heat transferred between hearts,
The brilliance of diamonds just symbols,
Of light from each soul in the dark,
Shining against the backdrop of forever.

 In the ocean of life,
We are sailors on a journey,
Our differences made one by the ship,
Different roles keep the ship on course,
Storms rearranging the sky,
Our hearts keep our hands strong,
On our course to the Promised Land.
