The Boy Who Could Play

Forgotten and forlorn,

Music sitting in silence,

Restored and revived,

Ready to play again.

The call went out,

To find a new heart,

To play the ivory keys,

And receive a new start.

When there is love in a family,

There is music in hearts,

Their son heard the song,

And his soul did fly.

So they searched for a piano,

Which to their hearts was dear,

Answering the parents prayers,

So their son’s music they would hear.

The boy studied and learned,

Until the classics could be,

Flowing through his hands,

With great beauty.

That was a few years ago,

And they wrote us to say,

How thankful they are,

And how wonderfully he plays.
