Never Undone

This was written after I heard of the untimely passing of Delores O’Riordan who was the lead singer of The Cranberries but I am remembering everyone including David Bowie.  Hearing their voices in song is a reminder of the truth that none of us are separated, it only seems that way.  The language of music is a reminder that all hearts are bound together through love.

 Music always surrounds us,
You can hear it in the breeze,
 Encouraging a warrior in battle,
Bringing the faithful to their knees.
 Through every voice resounding,
Some here and some far away,
They live in our world or our hearts,
And you can hear each one of them say.

 In colors we are many,
In love we are but one,
The language of hearts is music,
 In song that’s never undone.

Her voice came through from Ireland,
In sounds of flight like a bird,
 The Irish cries of love,
Like nothing we have ever heard,
Another voice came from England,
 His sounds enchanting the night,
His heart speaking through different colors,
And his eyes shone of two different lights.

 In colors we are many,
In love we are but one,
The language of hearts is music,
 In song that’s never undone.

Hear many who walked on our paths,
Many who is races are run,
Hear more in the dawn’s sweet whispers,
With voices that have not begun.
They all sing a song unchanging,
In sunshine and in the rain,
 No matter the day’s circumstance,
 The song remains the same.

 In colors we are many,
In love we are but one,
The language of hearts is music,
 In song that’s never undone.

Their songs reflect through radios,
From the true sound in our hearts,
From the sweet reminder of music,
The truth will not depart,
Together we lift our voices,
Until the angels sing on high,
Forever we lift our voices,
The sound not contained by the sky.

 In colors we are many,
In love we are but one,
The language of hearts is music,
 In song that’s never undone.
