Pennies From Heaven

There is no coincidence in life,
Yet there is magic all around.
 Pennies falling from heaven,
Marking the path we are on.
 Words whispered in the wind,
Giving us hope through the day.
For from the heart of God,
Light shines upon our souls.

 We would not know triumphs,
If it were not for tragic times.
We would not know what joy is,
 Without sadness in our lives.
It is the times we are alone,
Which drive us to each other.
Yet the Spirit of God surrounds us,
 And we are never alone.

 I look into the eyes,
 Of others along the path.
My heart is filled with joy,
And my spirit can only laugh.
He made it all so simple,
In spite of our illusions,
Removing all confusion,
For there is only love.

Where the Road Begins Again

You thought you were facing the end of the road,
But love doesn’t work like that.
The seeds you plant in other hearts,
 Become a matter of fact.
Beginnings and endings are for movies,
For film reels come to an end.
But a heart walking on the path of love,
Finds were the road begins again.

The things that we do seem to slip away,
The universe is spinning so fast.
We sit and reflect on the effect of our lives,
 When nothing seems to last.
When you listen the answer will come,
In the word or the smile of a friend.
You find the meaning as you are standing,
 Where the road begins again.

You look out across the waters,
Wondering if there is a shore.
No boat in sight and afraid to cross,
To where we have been before.
In love is where all hearts are born,
To love they return again.
With the circle complete all hearts do meet,
Where the road begins again.

The Cost of Joy

The scope of love is endless,
 As is the human heart.
There can be no true ending,
When one cannot find the start.
 Yet free will is present,
Which makes love require a choice.
 No heart can be conquered,
When the actions match the voice.

There is a key to happiness,
 No secret to employ.
Investing into other hearts,
 Is the cost of joy.

 Joy is not entitled,
There are decisions and hard work.
 The sweat of focused effort,
 Behind every smile lurks.
 Because happiness can’t happen,
 Unless it is desired.
 For happiness is fueled,
From the heat of passion’s fire.

There is a key to happiness,
 No secret to employ.
Investing into other hearts,
 Is the cost of joy.

 This is not a condition,
This is a way of life.
This is the bond of fire,
 Between a man and wife.
 This is the gentle healing,
That cures each hurt and pain.
This is the way of life,
Which never leaves one the same.

There is a key to happiness,
 No secret to employ.
Investing into other hearts,
 Is the cost of joy.

The path bears all the imprints,
 Of legendary hearts.
All the nameless and the named,
 To whom love did impart.
 The meaning and the joys,
Of the endless song of living,
The great effort towards this joy,
Is to never stop giving.

There is a key to happiness,
 No secret to employ.
Investing into other hearts,
 Is the cost of joy.

Song of Silence

 Imagine a silence,
 No waves of distraction,
 Where colors become music,
 Images become thought,
 Thought becomes reality,
 Forged by fires of inspiration,
 Adding to the picture,
 Seen by other souls,
 As they look upon reality,
 With vision of the heart.

This forms the tapestry,
Where one life affects many,
Sepearate journeys intertwine,
Magic comes thorough courage,
 For no challenge is unshared,
A hand will reach through the darkness,
 To guide the weary traveler,
Who does not see the trail,
Though he hears the silent song,
 Upon the winds of faith.

The eyes may see new lands,
While the senses taste new joys,
 Broadening the mind,
The only the heart can truly see,
 Beyond the chatters of distraction,
 The mystery of life,
Shows in clues behind the eyes,
And markings on the stones,
Along with wonders in the sky,
Which words could never share.

When a dog is looking peacefully
Up into your eyes,
How much does he feel,
Of what most will never see?
It is upon this silent river,
Which souls forever sail,
Where souls impart their image,
Upon the hearts of all they meet,
Pushing back the boundaries,
Of Eternity.

Celebration

What is life?
 The sweet undefinable,
 Energy of love,
 Measured in breath.
 Souls upon a tapestry,
 Like clouds in the sky,
 With lightning between them,
 No beginning or end.

A door may open,
 A loved one steps through,
 When the door is closed,
 Becomes hidden from sight.
Yet through vision of the heart,
We can see that he is well,
 With joy in the garden,
 Standing in the light.

 The pain of our loss,
Is from the tether of love,
 Tied to our hearts,
 From a soul unseen.
 Recognizing this truth,
Is the proof of life eternal,
 Transforming our pain,
 To peace most serene.

 All of his words,
 All of the kindness,
 All of the actions,
  In us cause creation.
 Shining through our hearts,
 Into other lives,
 So that the magic continues,
Is cause for celebration.

Ride The Wind

In the wild and the wind,
The sky has no boundaries,
A reflection of imagination,
Open and unlimited,
Painted by the rolling hills,
Thoughts separated by oceans,
Rearranged by storms of doubt,
And pierced with the sunlight of faith.

Among the creatures of the earth,
 This truth is well known,
They have no words to express,
What cannot be expressed in words,
Felt  beneath the wings below the clouds,
Amidst the wonderous reefs of the oceans,
Or within the clefts of the mountains,
From which vision has no limits,
And what cannot be expressed in words,
Is clearly seen through the eyes.

Hear the heart is the only guide,
 To fly free without restriction,
 To swim deep without dimensions,
To know what words cannot speak of,
A song heard in the voice of the spirit,
Where feeling is the wisdom of truth,
Faith becomes the energy of life,
Souls join as one within the song,
For it is with your hand in mine,
That I ride upon the wind.

Stones of Fire

The simplicity of magic,
Is joining passion with persistence,
Never giving up,
Makes imagination real.
The first essential need,
Bringing magic into life,
A non-negotiable term,
It is the skill to feel.

To feel is not entitled,
It is a skill to be honed,
A stone requiring polish,
Each and every day.
It’s glory comes through pain,
Made more precious through the fire,
Adding beauty to the world,
In a very special way.

Along the way are stones,
Each a different color,
Catching the light of God,
Creating a rainbow through love.
A precious stone enfolded,
Within gray rock of the earth,
Requires free will sparks of change,
To capture the glorious light from above.

With many colored gemstones,
Beneath the sun’s rays,
Each one will reflect,
A different hue of fire.
Let our feelings reflect,
God’s perfect light above,
Through the colors of our gifts,
And love will take it higher.

In The Name of Harry

May he live on through our hearts, and how we choose to live.

 His smile was priceless,
 A gift given freely,
 From a heart of joy,
 And a choice of living,
 For a happy life,
 Comes through giving,
 A magician and artist,
 Sorcerer of emotions,
 Conveying truth,
 Through clouds of commotion,
 Sight comes from the heart,
  Though life is confusing,
 He taught this with laughter,
 The tool he was using.

 To follow his example,
Was a joy that I sought,
 To keep my smile,
 All through the while,
 With sharp wit,
 And friends all around,
  For the power of love,
 Is oh so profound!
  Yet I have one regret,
 Which now I must share,
 I never said thank you,
With all the tools that are there.

In his memory I go forth,
 And so should you,
We should never miss a chance,
 To say I love you,
To say that I thank you,
 For time is so rare,
  So share what you’re feeling,
 And you will soon find,
 This is the best use,
 Of the gift of time.

Flow of Love

Moments of binding,
On paths intertwining,
Happen in times of pain,
When tragedy strikes,
Anxiety spikes,
And no one is ever the same.

A daughter is lost,
On one path afar,
In illness taken away,
Yet hearts come together,
In the stormiest weather,
And healing comes when we pray.

Cancer then comes,
Like a lightening strike,
To homes of those we know,
Though no one controls,
Where lightening strikes,
We control the love that we show.

A friend loosing sight,
The coming of night,
Darkness far too soon,
Yet with bringing of hope,
The heart’s fire is stoked,
On horizon a miracle looms.

We can not control,
When circumstance comes,
But we can co tell what we do,
For the simplest things,
From hearts far and near,
 And help pull someone through.

Your faith in God,
Fuels the fires of love,
The energy flows when you share,
Healing comes through,
The power of your heart,
When you choose to be there.

Fractured Souls

 In us and through us,
 They walk and they wonder,
 Through trials and through tears,
 Their hearts torn asunder,
 Hearts crying in the darkness,
 Voices silenced by the night,
 Souls looking upward for hope,
 Through perforations seeing starlight.

 Some have lost their children,
 Young lives taken away,
 Innocent blood crying to God,
 Parents with nothing to say,
 Others have lost their health,
 Time quickly slipping away,
 In battle against unseen foes,
Within the clear light of day.

These souls walk and breathe with us,
 Sometimes with close ties,
 Others unknown amidst the crowds,
And we look into their eyes,
The impact rolls from life to lives,
 As pain can only flow,
If left unchecked by faithful hearts,
Who knows where this can go.

 We cannot control what occurs,
 But only what we do,
Yet chances come for us to love,
With choice for me and you,
 For none can resist,
 This power to persist,
 No fears rise above,
When there is only love.

My Rose

For my Ewa

 Within my garden,
 Lemons shimmer like the sun,
 Passionfruit instills passion,
For in the center of it all,
 There is my Rose.

 Within my garden,
 There is laughter,
 We are joyous hearts converge,
Four in the center of it all,
  Shines my Rose.

 She grows in my heart,
 Giving my heart meaning,
 She perfumes my soul,
 Giving my life joy,
Among the many she is the one.

I have flown through the stars,
 Seeing all of their beauty,
 Feeling all of their energy,
 For the center of beauty,
 Is my Rose.

 Upon the edge of forever,
 I see the unending,
For from the heart of God,
 Came this fountain of love,
 From my Rose.

Where is God?

Where is God,
 When the Twin Towers fell,
When pain is unending,
 When people go through hell?

 Where is God,
 While suffering prevails,
 While cancer rules the wards,
 While physical strength fails?

 Suffering comes from will,
Which we are free to choose,
Which made in our self interest,
 Will cause us to lose.

 Pain comes from life,
 While beauty surrounds us,
While our own breath confounds us,
Which is the effort of strife.

 God does not act,
 Within lights and in shows,
 Behind the canvas of life,
 Is the magic he sows.

 Where are God’s miracles?
Do not look to the skies,
They are closer than you think,
 Look into my eyes.

 Now look all around you,
Is it part of a plan?
 God’s love shines the brightest,
 When through human hands.

 Suffering is a stage,
 Unlike any other,
 Yet the miracle from God,
Is He gives us each other.

 We are creatures of effort,
 Love’s acts  prove this true,
When I am looking for God,
I need just look at you.

The Song of Whispers

 Who has walked that streets,
 That I’ve walked before?
 The present sunlight falling,
 Has closed open doors.
 The sidewalk dirt is stamped,
 With the years gone by.
 Hence the raindrops falling,
 From a tear filled sky.

 Air touches skin,
 Sounds touches ears,
 These senses are sisters.
 Souls cross thresholds,
 With faces unseen,
 In the song of whispers.

 Those who lived and passed,
 Never pass away.
 Safe within their timelines,
 They will always stay.
For the body is not immortal,
Yet the soul keeps on living,
To the ears of patient parts,
From heaven this song keeps giving.

 Air touches skin,
 Sounds touches ears,
 These senses are sisters.
 Souls cross thresholds,
 With faces unseen,
 Through the song of whispers.

 Lives will come and go,
 But can they be forgotten?
 Is forever not the gift,
 Of God’s only begotten?
 There is no greater hope,
 Then life can ever bring.
 Then the gift of love,
 Transcending everything.

 Air touches skin,
 Sounds touches ears,
 These senses are sisters.
 Souls cross thresholds,
 Which only hearts can hear,
 Silent song of whispers.

 In silence hear their voices,
In silence the heart may hear,
 The endless song of life,
 Removing every fear,
This flame from God we carry,
 Where ever we may go,
 No hope is rendered hopeless,
The light of truth will show.

  Air touches skin,
 Sounds touches ears,
 These senses are sisters.
 Souls cross thresholds,
 With faces unseen,
 The song of whispers.

Where Words Fail

 The heart speaks a language,
 Unfettered by words,
 Which confine possibilities,
To the limits of the tongue.

 The heart is unlimited,
 Beyond the bounds of senses,
 Seeing magnificence magnified,
 Knowing who we truly are.

 True vision first begins,
 With the eyes fully shut,
So the heart may convey clearly,
What the eyes will later find.

 Our eyes will never see,
Beauty in it’s fullness,
For the greatest beauty in life,
 Is hidden from plain sight.

There are places we may go,
 Where the words stop flowing,
 Where our hearts start speaking,
 Unrestrained and in truth.

 May words convey the wordless,
As you look up from these words,
And you look into your heart,
 Seeing life anew.

Silverwood Songs

For  Noah Paley and his inspiration,
From one heart to another.

 Endless seas,
 Open skies,
 Rolling dunes,
 Weathered eyes,
 Silverwood,
 On village doors,
His songs play,
To tell us more.

 On this beach,
 We fell in love,
 With waves below,
 And gulls above,
 As his hand played,
 On ageless strings,
 He found the song,
 Which our hearts sing.

 A song does fly,
 Unfettered wings,
 Through any storm,
 Such peace it brings,
 The rhyme brings joy,
 From face to face,
 With power to cross,
 Both time and space.

 These songs of sand,
 That bound our souls,
 Inspire our hearts,
 And keep us whole,
 The song of life,
 Does us surround,
 The notes we add,
 Form common ground.

Exploration

 How high is up,
 And how far is away?

What is not seen  first in the heart,
Is seldom found with the mind,
 Scope has no limit,
 Except within the mind,
For the eyes can see barriers,
While the heart can see forever,
 Yet even the universe,
 Has no visible boundaries.

 Where are the boundaries,
 When things are unseen?

Beneath the surface reflections,
Lie the depths of unseen truth.
 Here the eyes lose  authority,
And the way must be felt,
 For touch can go far,
 But only with the physical,
 While the treasure of reality,
 Lies beyond our fingertips.

 Is travel possible,
 Without the need to move?

 Motion is just an attempt,
To deal with the illusion of distance,
While we move in our futility,
 Hawking explores the universe,
As the knowledge of his condition,
 Inspired exploration with his mind,
For the love within his heart,
Gave him the strength to persevere.

What is the mystery of love,
 Which time has not unraveled?

 Love manifests in reality,
 Through the action of creation,
Love breaches the gates of Hell,
 Through the sacrifice of desires,
Love voids the power of death,
 Through the joining of souls,
For a day not exploring love,
 Truly is a day wasted.

Standing With You

In battles lost and battles won,
 I reflect beneath the stars,
Which show my size in truth,
 My place amidst the galaxies,
 While shining through the darkness,
They show the beauty of life.

 This is a new chapter,
With more experience in your soul,
 More hearts beneath your wings,
  Riding on the spirit winds,
 Within this song of life,
 Which shatters any storm.

For no star within the night,
  Is ever truly alone,
 Within an ocean of diamonds,
 Reflecting our infinite souls,
 As within indomitable love,
 Hope will never be lost.

 These words are one language,
 With a universe of thought,
  While music is a universe,
 With all languages in one,
 A sharing between souls,
 Of what cannot be spoken.

 Battles can be won,
 And they are seldom repeated,
 Yet when the seldom happens,
There are more hearts by your side,
 Souls brave in their faith,
Stand as one in God's pure love.

 Never fear or doubt,
 And never lose your smile,
Your heart rides fourth in music,
 Residing in  all of ours,
 Our strength returns to you,
 Indomitable in love.

Hearts of Manchester

This is for the victims, families, and friends affected by the brutal attack on the evening of May 22, 2017  upon the fans of Ariana Grande  at her concert in Manchester.  I wish I could personally comfort each and everyone  and give them strength. I cannot do that, but I can write and pray that it is read.   I will also remind each and everyone of you to never miss a chance to tell someone you love them, never miss a chance to smile, never miss a moment to live, as their hearts and souls live through us.

Their laughter did fill our ears,
Their voices did calm our fears,
By our sides through the day,
Too quickly taken far away,
Eyes amidst the stars above,
Souls born by wings of love,
Lifted from our tear dimmed eyes,
Journey beyond the new sunrise,
We hold each other through the night,
Too shaken from the shocking sight,
Yet held by strong arms above,
We take strength in God's pure love,
We lay ourselves down to bed,
Dream of the ones who've gone ahead,
For the truth we knew from the start,
Their lives shine on through our hearts.

 Live life strong every day,
Share it in every possible way,
Light falls on us from above,
Flooding darkness with tears of love,
For no force stands against this power,
Saving us in the darkest hour,
 Binding souls with love's tether,
A chord not even death can sever,
Darkness is lost within this strife,
For love is the eternal song of life,
And so we join  heart to heart,
 Honoring those who did depart,
So their hearts may shine through us,
Towards brighter days ahead of us,
And so the world does stand together,
For the hearts and souls of Manchester.

Angels Among Us

 Underneath the tree,
 Lying in her pain,
 Underneath a tree,
 Beaten close to death.
 Wounded in her heart,
 Scars upon her soul,
 Unable to stand,
 Alone and bereft.

 Together we did talk,
 A chance meeting of souls,
 Together we did walk,
 With wheelchair in hand,
She just could not make it,
 To the hospital so far,
 Alone and with no strength,
She just would not make it.

Can you see the  girl playing?
She is laughing with her friend,
 The little girl is playing,
She does not see this before her,
 None could see this coming,
 No one would want it,
 Lying helpless beneath a tree,
It would send the bravest running.

She is still a human being,
 Beneath the dirt and filth,
She is still a human being,
 Someone's child and a woman,
But pray for an angel to come,
 God always sends somebody,
Yet there is no one on the street,
Perhaps you are the angel to come.
Perhaps she is an angel in disguise?
 Scripture states that this happens,
Would you miss the chance to reach out?
Would you miss a chance to touch God?

The Quiet Before The Storm

 The dark clouds approached,
 Like a freight train coming,
 Riding a cold wind,
 Taking away the light,
 Riding a cold wind,
 Taking away the sound.

 The birds have stopped singing,
 As they feel the monster,
 Hiding behind the hills,
 They feel it coming,
 Hiding behind the hills,
 They know it is there.

Rearing its head with a flash,
 Lightning announces its presence,
 Flooding the land with vengeance,
 The monster releases its rage,
 Flooding the land with vengeance,
 As thunder embraces the heart.

 The storms will come,
 Taking away our strength,
Yet God brings us through them,
 While building up our souls,
Yet God brings us through them,
 Strengthening our hearts.

 After the storm has passed,
We return to open the window,
To see the light stream through the clouds,
 Bathing the land in color,
To see the lifestream through the clouds,
 Rearranging beauty within the song.

It is God who brings the storms,
 Bringing energy back into life,
The rains come down upon us,
 And wash away our tears,
The rains come down upon us,
So we may come into full bloom.
